Provincial deputy and professor Radivoje Jovovic was released from house arrest to defend himself from freedom, announced the board of the Movement of Free Citizens (PSG) in Novi Sad and recalled that the detention lasted 120 days.
The announcement states that Jovović is charged with assaulting an official and obstructing an official in the performance of his official duties during a non-violent protest on August 19 in front of the courthouse in Novi Sad.
Jovović was detained together with the activist Isidora Čeleketić, after which he spent 10 days in the custody of the Klisa district prison in Novi Sad, after which he was placed under house arrest, which, with the extension and tightening of the measures, lasted until today, according to the PSG.
