Nova blockade roads and new intervention Gendarmerie it happened on Friday (July 25) evening.
Termination to a Kolubara worker To Goran Perišić he brought the residents of Lazarevac to the streets, who first gathered for a protest and then blocked it Miloš Veliki highway at the Lajkovac toll booth. However, the police quickly broke the blockade.
A few minutes after the citizens blocked the highway in the direction of Čačak, members of the Gendarmerie arrived, whose commander called the crowd to take shelter and unblock the road.
An intervention soon followed and all those who did not escape from the highway were pushed out by the police, and some were carried away, after which the identification of those present followed.

Protest over dismissal
Despite the highway blockade, a protest was held in Lazarevac due to the dismissal of Goran Perišić.
It is assumed that he was fired because he was one of the speakers at the protest on June 28 in Belgrade, N1 reported.
In February, Perišić was first fired for supporting students, only to be reinstated a few months later, after a complaint to the Labor Inspectorate. The Ministry of Labour, Veterans and Social Affairs later overturned the inspection's decision and confirmed Perišić's dismissal.
"I have 36 years of service in Kolubara. First I received a warning, then a dismissal, then the labor inspectorate returned me to work, since they made a mistake in some annexes of the contract. They returned me to another workplace with twice the salary. That was not enough for them, and two days ago I received the news that I had been dismissed. I don't know on what grounds, Milica overruled my decision and handed me my dismissal, probably by order from the top of the state," he told N23 on July 1 Goran Perišić.
He added that it is possible that one of the reasons why he was fired was the speech he gave at the protest on June 28 in Belgrade.
"Probably, because in that speech I called the president a coward, because he must not call elections. That is probably one of the reasons," said Perišić.
During his speech at the protest, he called on the crowd to drive their cars towards Belgrade.
"Tonight's action depends on you," said Perišić.
The case of Goran Perišić
Goran Perišić was the excavator manager in Kolubara until February 2025. and then he got fired, for supporting students.
He was fired after 35 years of work at the Kolubara mine, due to a video published on January 1, 2025, where he wished a happy New Year to the students and employees of EPS from his workplace.
First, in January, he received a warning before being fired, due to non-compliance with the code of conduct and work discipline, and then on February 25, he was served with a notice of dismissal.
After such a decision, Perišić filed a complaint with the labor inspection, and in mid-April he was returned to work, but to another workplace.
"After my dismissal, I did not work for two months, and we sued the Labor Inspectorate and the court. The Labor Inspectorate returned me to work on April 17, however, it did not return me to my workplace, which was required by law, but from production to finance, a workplace that I have never worked in, which requires economics school, which I do not have. The reason was supposedly that my workplace was occupied, however, from a conversation with a colleague (who came to that position in my place) I found out that he has already been working there for three months as excavator, but without a solution. They lied that it was busy. The inspectorate should come out and investigate why he has been working for so long without a solution," said Goran Perišić, an EPS employee, for N1.
As he stated at the time, the new job brought him twice as much income.
The saga of his workplace did not end there, as the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia confirmed the dismissal of Perišić, by canceling the earlier decision of the labor inspector in his case.
At the same time, Minister Milica Đurđević-Stamenkovski rejected Perišić's request to cancel the decision on dismissal.
The decision, which was signed by Minister Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski on June 10, 2025, was published by lawyer Ivan Ninić on the X social network.
The Ministry thereby annulled the decision of the inspection and rejected his request to return to work, with the explanation that the execution of the final decision of the EPS on his dismissal cannot be delayed.
In the decision, it is pointed out that it is final in the administrative procedure and that an appeal is not allowed, nor can an administrative dispute be initiated on the basis of the Labor Law.
