In the settlement Belgrade on water on Wednesday, November 27, a protest blockade was held. This protest was also supported by the group of young activists "Borba" and through their Instagram profile earlier invited people to come and support the protest "against violence against Belgrade". The message of the protest is: "The bridge remains!".

According to eyewitnesses, "beaters" gathered at the protest, and a conflict ensued.
"The hooligans came to break up the protests, and for that purpose they are ready to use all possible measures, and even to attack the demonstrators with knives." I saw two guys chasing Pavlo Cicvarić and I saw that one of them had a knife. As they started to approach him, I pulled the guy with the knife away, and Pavle managed to retreat while that guy disappeared into the group of fans," Petar Mladenović, an activist of the "Borba" group, told "Vreme".

Immediately after the attempted attack, Pavle Cicvarić posted a video on his Instagram profile and said: "The beaters of the Serbian Progressive Party have just tried to destroy the protest of the team defending the Old Sava Bridge." They sent their beaters, who also have knives, and they attacked the citizens with knives. It is very violent at the moment”.
Jelena Radović from the Most Remains initiative told N1 that the first incidents occurred as soon as they came to the intersection, "but we saw while we were walking to it a group of people with hoods, as soon as we stopped the traffic they started attacking, randomly choosing people from the initiative , insulting and shouting at them".

"They ran into the crowd a couple of times. It is the usual uniform of counter-demonstrators - they have black or surgical masks, hoods, they are dressed similarly, they move in groups of five or six," said Radović.

Clash of two groups
It was announced on the Instagram profile of 192_rs that there was a conflict between activists of the opposition and activists of the ruling party. In the jostling of the two groups, one of them shouted: "You are a thief."
Threats to Miketić
Activist Đorđe Miketić from the "Most Remains" initiative confirmed earlier on Wednesday to "Vreme" that he had received "disturbing security threats".
On Wednesday, Miketić announced on the X social network that in the days when the regime's brutal repression of citizens is carried out, when we have student kidnappings, political arrests, police torture, organized gangs of thugs who beat citizens and students, and even snipers at the Serbian Parliament, he got created threats to the safety of his family and him personally.
Although, he says, it is not the first time, he was forced to go public with those threats.
