From the protests in Belgrade that were started after "Informer" published an interview with a multiple rapist, it was said today that since the institutions do not want to hear women, they will go to the street to hear them. It was reported that the interview, which was also broadcast by other portals, has not yet been removed from the Internet.
"We are here today because the institutions are silent, and the violence continues", could be heard in Terazije, as well as that in seven days one woman and one girl were killed.

One of the participants of the protest Jelena Riznic indicated that 25 women had been killed since the beginning of the year and that this was the result of violence that was ignored by the institutions. "That's why women were killed." If we remain silent today, generations of girls will be killed and suffocated in our silence. We have to raise our voice and shout for them," said Riznić.
She also said that two months ago she received information that there was a man on the loose who threatened to kill her with a gun, that she is dancing on the street because she lies down and wakes up with the thought of death, but that she is not afraid because women are one strength to others.

"They called us witches in the past, it's time for us to call them bullies and burn this system that hates women at the stake," said Riznić.
The participants of the protest, who wove a net with a red rope at the entrance to "Informer" with the inscription "Closed", said that this must not be a "miracle of three days", that violence must be stopped and that if the institutions will not, protect women from each other.

Women's Solidarity called for the protest. There were four drummers in the first row. The largest banner at the protest was "Anger on the streets, justice for women and girls", and "We are not angry, this is anger" was also highlighted, as well as "Where is the center for social work and what is it doing".

The participants chanted "Not our tears, not our blood", "Shit, how dare you", "Women's revolution", "Prisoners for thugs", "We are angry" and "Thugs in prisons, not in the media", as well as " Furious and free". Several children who came to the protest with their parents carried the banner "What kind of future are you leaving", while an elderly man set fire to an edition of the newspaper "Informer". The protest march went from Terazi to the Serbian Parliament. Traffic was stopped in Kralja Milan Street.
