While there is no news regarding the health condition of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, the question remains whether he will go to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day.

Two days have passed since the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić unplanned previously returned from a trip from the United States of America (USA), because, as reported, he fell ill.

Vučić urgently returned from Florida, and was immediately admitted to the Military Medical Academy.

The president is, according to cardiologist and Brigadier General Dragan Dinčić felt a strong pain in his chest that lasted a few seconds.

Although Vučić himself said that the pain lasted a few seconds, the others present at that moment said that the pain lasted a little longer. According to Dinčić, the pain was related to Vučić's high blood pressure.

"He took the therapy, which was intensive, and after 45 minutes, when the team of doctors from America arrived, the measured blood pressure values were 165/98 millimeters of mercury, which indicates that the pressure before the therapy was significantly higher than when it was measured. The doctors performed all the examinations quite correctly, and the president, contrary to their suggestion, made the decision to return to the country." said Dinčić on Saturday, May 3.

At the time, he said that during the examination at the VMA, it was established that the current state of health of the president is stable and satisfactory. Vučić left that hospital on the same day.

Heart: Many unclear things

The President of the Departmental Committee for Health of the Serbian Center Party (Srce), Dragan Delic, assessed on Monday (May 5) that many things regarding the health condition of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, remained unclear, and that some were "incomprehensible and unreasonable" from a medical point of view.

Delić stated in a written statement that many questions remained unanswered by experts, and why, after "strong chest pain" and an obvious spike in arterial pressure, the decision to return to the country, without medical supervision and medical assistance during the ten-hour flight, was made by Vučić himself as a medical layman, reports FoNet.

"It remains unclear why Vučić, who for the last ten years has been suffering from high blood pressure with worsening episodes, did not have a medical escort, for example an internist-cardiologist, in the team? Has the president had periodic checkups in recent years, respecting clearly defined rules and medical protocols? It remains unclear why the public was unconvincingly addressed with broader information by a non-medical person - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali," said Delic, according to the Srce party.

Delic also pointed out that it is unclear why the public was denied the written report of the expert collegium of the Military Medical Academy explaining why Vučić "suddenly fell ill and suddenly felt bad", as well as why he "had chest pains".

"Expressing the position that the president's health condition is currently stable and satisfactory encourages and pleases us all, but it does not provide the necessary answers. All this is not considered to interfere with the personal rights and decisions of the president, but is a matter of democratic heritage and the universal right to medical truth when it comes to such important figures who decide our fate," explained Delić, retired professor of the Faculty of Medicine.

Delić warned that regular "psychosomatic examinations of the most important political figures" and the consequent written expert reports of the medical council significantly reduce the possibilities of manipulations, assumptions, untruths and introducing confusion into the public and the media space, reports FoNet.

In the meantime, the president did not advertise in the media, but on his Instagram account on Sunday (May 4) evening, a clip of "Week with the President" was published about the events of the week from April 28 to May 2, but there is no insert from the visit to America.

"Vreme" sent questions to the president's adviser about his condition and whether he will go to Moscow on May 9 for the Victory Parade, but the answer did not arrive by the time this article was published.

President Vučić has been to the United States and back, apparently traveled on a Falcon 6X plane. After a series of speculations that the Government of Serbia had acquired a new expensive aircraft, in the last days of April the first official flights were made with that aircraft, on April 30 it flew across the Atlantic for the first time, and on May 3 it returned to Serbia.

"In the next few days, when he recovers, he will address the public. The only thing I can say, knowing him, given that he is a man of his word, is that he promised he would be there, and I suspect he will keep his promise," Mali said.

On the same day, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, in the Hit Tweet show on Pink TV, speaking about the planned visit to Moscow, said: "One thing we can count on is that Vučić keeps his word."
