President of the Novi Sad SSP board: Most colleagues are in favor of going to the elections

Negotiations for the local elections in Novi Sad, which will be held on June 2 opposition parties are still going on, and it is still uncertain who will go to the elections, as well as whether one or more opposition lists will be formed.

"We will make a decision on whether to participate in the Novi Sad elections on Monday evening, but as far as I can see, most of my colleagues are in favor of participation, as well as myself," Vladimir Vrsajkov, president of the Novi Sad Committee of the Freedom and Justice Party, told Vreme.

Vrsajkov notes that boycotting the election would only benefit Serbian Progressive Party, and that it is their duty to fight despite the thefts, together with other opposition parties.

"The only thing left for us is to preserve unity, at least in Novi Sad," said Vrsajkov.

When "Vremena" asked whether they would participate in the upcoming Novi Sad elections, they did not want to give an answer from the apartments. Together with the Heart, because as they say, the talks are still ongoing, and the final decision will be made "in a day or two".

While SNS is in power, there are no fair elections

"We owe it to the citizens to fight despite vote theft." We need to record and prove these thefts," said Vrsajkov.

He also says that the exit is under this conditions problematic, but that they can be withdrawn during the campaign, if there is a mass importation of voters and if the City Election Commission does not do its job.

"This is a local issue, the people of Novi Sad know how bad the situation is in the city." If everyone who is dissatisfied goes to the elections, we will win even with all their theft", says Vrsajkov and adds that the elections will never be fair while the SNS is in power.

According to Vrsajko, members of the Freedom and Justice Party talk intensively with all opposition parties in the city, and with the right wing.

"We are trying to form one list." And if there are two or three lists, we will continue to cooperate, because we have a common goal", notes Vrsajkov and says that he will make a final decision very soon.
