Predrag Milosevic (55) busted on April 29 in Novi Banovci, since, as Nova.rs has learned unofficially, during the search of his cottage, the police found 500.000 tablets of the sedative "bensedin", as well as a pistol for which the police suspect he did not have a license, with the corresponding ammunition.
The High Court in Sremska Mitrovica ordered him detention.
It is about a man who is an official Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Darko Glisic, the then president of the Executive Board, presented at one time as a great reinforcement to the SNS.
Milošević was first ordered to be detained by the police for up to 48 hours, and then he was taken to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica, where he was questioned and presented his defense. The High Court in Sremska Mitrovica, on the proposal of the High Public Prosecutor's Office, ordered him to be detained for up to 30 days due to the risk of repeating the criminal offense, according to the response of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica, writes Nova.rs.
Milošević is accused by the VJT in Sremska Mitrovica of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
There is no information on how Milošević obtained a huge amount of the drug, which requires a prescription, and which is produced by Galenika. That's more than 16.000 boxes, and this isn't the first time that the sedative "bensedine" has appeared on the illegal market.
Big boost for SNS
By the way, this is a man whom the then president of the Executive Committee of the Serbian Progressive Party, Darko Glišić, personally presented as a great reinforcement.
Namely, in March 2023, four local leaders of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS) from the Zemun Municipal Board "defected" to the SNS, including Milošević.
At the press conference held on March 13, 2023, Glišić presented this reinforcement in the premises of SNS: member of the Main Board of POKS and the party's commissioner for the Belgrade municipality Palilula Dragoš Anastasijević, member of the GO and commissioner for the Zemun municipality Predrag Milošević, as well as POKS commissioner for the Vračar municipality Vladimir Golubović, as well as POKS vice president and commissioner for the Zubin Potok municipality of that party Mirko Glibo.
Milošević then made some statements for the pro-regime media in which he made serious accusations against some of yesterday's party comrades and accused them of mobbing and sexual harassment of women. However, it seems that Milošević did not manage very well in the new party and did not get any office.
According to the source of the portal Nova.rs, he moves between Zemun and Novi Banovci, because he lives in Zemun and was an official in the Municipal Committee of POKS there, while he has a cottage in Novi Banovci.
