Representatives Serbian lists on Saturday, together with other MPs, they are in the Assembly Kosova, took an oath stating that they will "stand for the protection and respect of constitutionality, legality, sovereignty, territorial integrity, institutional integrity of Kosovo and the provision of guarantees of human rights and freedoms".
The chairman asked the deputies to stand up while he read them the oath, and then emphasized that they had to sign it in order for it to be valid.
According to the Pristina media, the oath was signed by everyone, including the representatives of the Serbian List.
That the MPs of that party signed the oath is also claimed by the President of the Association of Journalists of Kosovo, Dzemailj Redza, who stated that they were allegedly "trying to hide it", KoSSev reports.
"Deputies of the Serbian List desperately tried to hide that they were signing the oath, and the highest representatives Zlatan Elek and Slavko Simić were seen leaving the hall to do so. The parliamentary oath states that they will work to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo," said Redza.
He also released a video showing Simić leaving the parliamentary bench first with a paper in his hand, and then Elek doing the same with a folder.
