In the next ten days, they expect significantly higher temperatures than in the previous days, says climatologist and professor at the Faculty of Physics, Vladimir Đurđević.
Đurđević is in favor RTS stated that this summer will be hotter than those of 30 or 40 years ago, but that it will not be hotter than last year.
He adds that for climatologists and meteorologists, summer already started on June 1 and that in the next ten days, significantly higher temperatures are expected than in the previous days.
"We will have one interruption of good weather during this weekend, there will also be a little rain in some areas, but in general the temperatures will be significantly higher than they were in the previous days," said Đurđević.
Already tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, he says, the temperature will be more than 35 degrees, and at the end of next week it will be even hotter.
In the long term, Đurđević states, the forecasts that were made a month ago still stand for this summer, namely that the summer will be warmer on average than some summers of 30 or 40 years ago.
However, compared to last year, this summer will probably not be warmer, Đurđević pointed out.
"Last year we had an extremely hot summer and it was, it seems to me, the third hottest summer in Serbia, maybe in some cities it was also the second hottest." Now we do not expect such an extremely hot summer, and it will probably be with temperatures above average," said the climatologist.
After a winter that was almost without snow, a very fickle spring that is more like autumn, summer is coming. It starts at 16.57:23 p.m. and will end on Friday, September XNUMX, at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m.
