The famous artist Andrej Josifovski wrote on the pedestal of the monument in front of the Assembly of Serbia "Mom, how is it that horses rode people?!"
Andrej Josifovski Pianist, known for his unusual and controversial installations and street graffiti, was detained this afternoon in front of the National Assembly building for writing graffiti.
The video of his apprehension was published on social networks.
The pianist wrote on the pedestal of the monument in front of the Assembly "Mom, how is it that horses rode people?!".
The pianist was detained for alleged vandalism, having written "Mom, how come the horses rode people" with removable water color in the Assembly.
There is no vandalism here, except that he should not have insulted the horses by comparing them to politicians in power.
Radomir Lazović, the first on the "Serbia against violence" list in the republican elections, wrote on Facebook that Josifovski's graffiti was written with artificial snow that is easily and quickly removed.
"The artist Pianista has just been arrested for writing this graffiti with New Year's snow, which is immediately removed, on the pillar of the National Assembly. The police did not stop at the arrest, but tried to hide the graffiti with cardboard. Well, is it possible???
Not to mention the fact that a man was arrested for graffiti, and that one of the SNS stormtroopers attacked me, right on those stairs, after threatening to kill me, and he was not arrested, nor do I know to this day what happened with the application I submitted.
... and while I am writing this, the police are not allowing journalists to film what happened!!!", wrote Lazović.
Two years ago, Josifovski gave a performance to the citizens of Belgrade when he set up a luminous phallus in front of the Belgrade Assembly.
He says that his works are an expression of rebellion, dissatisfaction and struggle. With the projects he dedicated to ecology, he appeals and raises awareness of the importance of recycling, draws attention to problems with landfills, water pollution...
"It all started by accident. All my works are an expression of rebellion, dissatisfaction or struggle. Those works were also something that bothered me and that I would like to change," Josifovski told "Blic" at the time.
The largest portrait of Novak Djokovic in the world was also drawn on the clay of the "Đukić" tennis club on the Bežanijska Kosa in Belgrade. He recently presented the world's best tennis player with a sculpture "Fist" weighing 60 kilograms and wrote: "It is a great thing that there are people who appreciate artistic creativity and the fight for culture and art in this 'Nedođija' too!" We will play and we will win". Djokovic is a fan of Pianista's works, the two are on friendly terms.

The artist Andrej Josifovski admits to the portal "Vremena" that his inspiration was not feminism, but a motive to remind that architecture is a sublime art. As he says, this profession is currently at an unenviable level. He believes that it is an important message to paint a mural of a woman, an intellectual who fought for true values, in the center of the city

Due to planned and unplanned urbanization, it is no longer possible to implement previously planned solutions. While waiting for new proposals, the artist Andrej Josifovski, known as the Pianist, performed the performance "The Bloody River" in order to, as he told the "Vremena" portal, shake us out of the frenzy in which we have been for a long time.
