Colleague and security guard to Rector Madić
It is interesting that the character of the DIF dean was noticed by the public at the end of March, when he acted as a security guard for fellow rector Dejan Madić, writes N1.
Namely, Novi Sad rector Madić skilfully avoids students and colleagues, even holding a Council session where he should finally be dismissed. However, on March 31, he was seen briefly at his home faculty - the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education.
Although the students reached the office where he locked himself in record time, they failed to ask him any questions because the professors and the dean of that faculty, Patrick Dryd, pretending to be security guards, took him out of the building, Autonomija.info wrote at the time.
Students noticed Madić and alerted his colleagues, who immediately came in larger numbers to the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education and in the corridor in front of the office where Madić was, they asked him to come out in order to ask him questions. The office door was locked, writes N1.
They blew their whistles and shouted for the rector to come out. They were shouting "Come out" and "Whoever doesn't come out is the one who will be killed". Soon, the dean of the Faculty of Sports, Patrick Dryd, accompanied by several professors, came to that office.
They asked the students to quiet down and move away from the office door, which they did. Professors of this faculty stood in front of the students and practically made it impossible for them to pass through the corridor and approach Madić.
Drid asked the students not to blow their whistles anymore, because he has "ear problems, so a health problem" and if they make noise he may pass out. The students listened to him. They said they wanted to talk to the rector.
Madić opened the door for Drid and they left the building together, followed by several professors who acted as security guards for the rector, writes N1.
