Opposition parties are at the meeting held after the protest in Novi Sad decided to give the authorities until tomorrow to fulfill the previously mentioned conditions. If that does not happen, the opposition will call for a protest in Belgrade on Friday, which could be held next Wednesday.
"Today, a meeting of representatives of all opposition parliamentary parties was held. At the meeting, it was agreed that the entire parliamentary opposition would invite citizens to a large protest in Belgrade, which would be held next Wednesday. if the demands of the citizens at yesterday's protest are not met by the specified deadline of 48 hours, which expires tomorrow evening," the announcement reads.
The announcement states that representatives of the opposition condemn the violence of paid hooligans which was organized yesterday in Novi Sad by the authorities and the peaceful protests of tens of thousands of citizens were presented as violent.
"Only a handful of paid thugs were destroying the City Hall building, which the police apparently did not protect on purpose, nor did they arrest the thugs." Instead, the police arrested those who had nothing to do with the violence. That is why we demand the arrest and prosecution of those who are responsible for the reconstruction project of the Railway Station and those who destroyed Novi Sad last night, and the release of those who were detained at the protests without any valid reason, such as Goran Ješić, who wanted to protect his boyfriend from illegitimate attackers with a human reaction. persons who led him in an unknown direction", the statement concludes.

A gathering of support for Goran Ješić was announced in front of the court in Novi Sad
In front of the Basic Court in Novi Sad tomorrow at 14 p.m., a peaceful gathering of support for the detained Goran Ješić will be held, the portal Nova.rs announced.
The former president of the municipality of Inđija and the former vice president of the Government of Vojvodina, Goran Ješić, will be heard by the prosecutor tomorrow at 14 pm, and this information was confirmed by the professor of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, Bojan Pajtić.
"Those who protested against the death were taken into custody, but not those who were responsible for the death - that is the picture and situation of today's Serbia." Goran Ješić was taken into custody and there will be a protest rally tomorrow at 14 pm in front of the court regarding his hearing. They don't have the right to charge him with assault on an official since he stood up to the hooded and hooded men who looked like hooligans while dragging the boy. Any of us would do that. An attack on an official is possible as a criminal offense when it is previously identified or when you can identify an official based on the uniform," said Pajtić in the Nova television daily.
By the way, last night, Ješić was detained by the police for up to 48 hours and is suspected of assaulting an official, which he denied in his statement to the police.
