The constituent session of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade, which was postponed on February 19 and scheduled for today at 10 am, has been postponed again, this time to March 3. The majority question is still uncertain
The President of the Provisional Authority of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić, stated before the constituent session of the Belgrade Assembly that a decision was made to postpone the session for another two days.
Let's remind constitutive session of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade, which was postponed on February 19 with the explanation of SNS and SPS that there was no quorum, has been rescheduled for today. It was unclear whether the current government will declare that it has the majority to form a new City administration, or whether the elections will be repeated.
The agenda included the election of the verification committee for confirming the mandate of councilors of the Belgrade City Assembly, as well as the election of the president and deputy president of the Belgrade Assembly, the Information Secretariat announced.
The role of Toma Fila
As reported by N1, the oldest member of the councilors of the ruling majority is the only one in the City Assembly - Tom Phil, who should postpone the meeting until Sunday, when the deadline for holding it is.
Šapić announced that in the next two days, more will be known about the formation of the Assembly, as well as that "a final position will be taken" by then.
"Mr. Toma Fila will postpone this session for two days and our councilors will not appear today... Last night I listened to Veselinović announcing that he will physically prevent us from forming the government, to question the new elections and if what they want is not respected, they will not allow elections to be held. In the next two days, we will take a common position and think carefully about what we will decide. Mr. Toma Fila will schedule the Assembly for March 3, and by then we will take our final position. "The situation is far more complicated than it seemed at the beginning," he said.

"Serbia Against Violence" councilors before the start of the sessions held banners in the hall, including the one "You whitewashed for nothing".
They said they wanted to show that the elections in Belgrade were stolen.
Let's remind you, Dobrica Veselinović from the Green-Left Front he said earlier for "Vreme"that the stance of the pro-European opposition remained the same.
"We believe that this city assembly should not be constituted because it does not represent the will of the citizens." It is clear to the citizens, based on the decisions of the European Parliament and the OIDHR report, that the elections were not fair and honest and that the results do not represent the true picture of what people voted for," says Veselinović.

Aleksandar Vučić is carrying out an unannounced coup d'état. It's for nothing. He has no defense against the demand for justice.
