The candidate for mayor of Belgrade from the Serbia against violence list, Vladimir Obradović, told "Vreme" that the government will decide to repeat the elections in Belgrade. He is convinced of the improvement of the election conditions, although the representatives of the government do not announce this at all

That is quite unusual. However, if we look at the bigger picture, it has been confirmed for the umpteenth time that the institutions do not exist and do not function", said Obradović.
According to him, the non-functioning of the institutions is no longer hidden, but "it is publicly announced that President Vučić will make a decision on the elections, and he does not have any authority for such a thing".
"He formally does not have any authority for the formation of authorities at the level of local self-government, but should deal with consultations for the formation of the Government of Serbia." As far as party activities are concerned, I remind you that he is no longer even the president of the party. His role does not exist here, and SNS officials keep repeating that the decisions of the institutions are not valid, but that President Vučić will make the decision", states Obradović.
He estimates that tomorrow he will announce a repeat of the election, although he will claim that it is a "new" election, "so as not to admit election theft."
"We work intensively all the time and insist on improving election conditions. The question is how much repeated elections without improving the conditions could even be called elections", believes the candidate for mayor of Belgrade from the list of Serbia against violence.
Stealing has become a habit.
He adds that SNS is "used to stealing in elections" and that it is time to stop doing that.
"They got used to stealing, and we fight against them with unity and work." To be honest, I can't even imagine that the elections will be repeated under the same conditions. I sincerely and firmly believe that the election conditions will change by then. If you look at the ruling elite, they insist and repeat that all the elections were clean and that there was nothing disputed. And everything that happened says the opposite," Obradović points out.
That is why he says that the SNS will work as it has been until now, that is, even if they claim that there will be no changes - they will do exactly the opposite and the election conditions will improve.
