After military engagement, and after a rigorous selection check, he transferred to the newly formed unit - the Gendarmerie, and then to the Anti-Terrorist Unit. In 2019, on the proposal of the police director and the consent of the then commander of the SAJ, he was appointed to the position of assistant commander of the Unit for the security of certain persons and facilities, in charge of leading, improving and organizing security protection of certain persons and facilities.
He worked in that unit until 2021, when he was sent to the Gendarmerie, to the position of advisor to the commander. At the suggestion of the minister and the leadership of the Police Directorate, in 2023 he returned to the position of assistant commander of the infamous Unit for the Security of Certain Persons and Facilities.
