Students of Novi Sad: How ashamed you are not to decorate the city with a lighted train
A train was placed in the center of Novi Sad as a New Year's decoration. You are not ashamed, say the students

The High Court accepted two appeals of the Nis opposition against the decisions of the City Election Commission, but this does not resolve all objections of the opposition, which claims that it was stolen and that the people actually voted for the removal of Nis progressives. On the social network "X", the candidate for mayor of the list "Biramo Niš" Đorđe Stanković announced that the High Court accepted the appeal for the repeat of the election at polling station number 18, but that this is not the end, there are still several appeals left.
More than ten days have passed since the election, and the fight for election results in Nis it's still going on. Namely, after the City Election Commission of Nis rejected the opposition parties' objections to the elections held on June 2 and made a decision to confirm the preliminary results, Nis opposition appealed to the High Court.
The results confirmed by the GIK are the same as those announced on June 3 - 30 mandates for the SNS list, 16 for the "Dr. Dragan Milić" Citizens' Group, 10 for the "Biramo Niš" coalition, two each for the "Kreni-Promeni" movement and the "United" coalition - Hope for Nis".
The minority Russian party received one mandate, although it only had a thousand and one votes and therefore remained below the census. This is enabled by the fact that it is a party of a national minority, regardless of the fact that, according to the recent population census, there are about a hundred Russians in Nis, while there are no Russians on the list itself, as the opposition claims.
With that one mandate that went to the Russian Party, the Serbian Progressive Party would have a majority in Niš.
The opposition submitted a total of 36 objections to the election materials to the City Election Commission. None of the objections were fully accepted. Of these, 20 objections were rejected, nine were rejected, six were partially accepted, and one objection was withdrawn.
Ana Eraković from the "Biramo Niš" coalition tells "Vreme" that the GIK called them only after 23 p.m. after submitting the proposal to allow them to see the voting materials. He adds that on the first day they came to inspect the material at four in the afternoon, and that the GIK members told them in front of the SNS that the working hours of the commission are until eight in the evening and that viewing of the voting material is interrupted.
What does the High Court say?
In the decision made by the Higher Court, it was stated that the GIK did not indicate to the complainant that the complaint was incomprehensible, nor did he inform him how to handle the complaint, which, as the Court said, was a legal obligation, they write. Southern news.
They also announced that the appeal clearly points out that GIK's reasons are unclear and that the objection is incomprehensible.
In question are two complaints submitted by the "Biramo Niš" coalition, from which they say that "their incomprehensible objections are clearly understandable" and that the GIK must now act on the complaints as on objections.
The City Election Commission will now have 10 days, no later than Saturday, June 22, to come up with new solutions for these two objections.
GIK rejected all the objections of the "Biramo Niš" coalition as incomprehensible, while the objections of the Citizens' Group "Dragan Milić" were rejected as unfounded.
In the meantime, the holder of the "Biramo Niš" list said that he had information that the acting president of the High Court was influencing the GIK to subsequently submit documents, so that their appeals would be rejected, and then the High Court also spoke, from where they said that the opposition exerts "undue influence to the Court".
Repeat elections in some polling stations
Dr. Dragan Milić, the leader of the Citizens' Group that bears his name, singled out two polling stations - number 10 and number 18.
Namely, at polling station number 10, says Milić, it is clearly visible that the total number of ballots has been altered. Now it says that there were 854 ballots in that place, while the original document said 841, according to which, he says, 13 more ballots were inserted.
He says that at polling station number 18, it was noticed that people who were not registered in the extract from the voter list voted. The same error was observed in polling stations 14 and 16 in the municipality of Mediana, which is why the elections in those stations will be repeated on June 16.
"Our proposal is to get out of this situation elegantly - to vote again at those two polling stations." It is about a couple of votes. That's a difference of seven, eight or nine tickets that can change the result", says Milić for "Vreme".
On the "X" social network, candidate for mayor of the "Biramo Niš" list, Đorđe Stanković, announced that the High Court accepted the appeal for a repeat election at polling station number 18.
"I congratulate everyone on this decision, this restores hope in the processes we entered into." Certainly, this is not the end, there are still several appeals left, among which is BM No. 10", wrote Stanković.
Milić said that they do not have to inform the media about all the steps, and Ana Eraković said that the entire opposition will decide on further plans and actions, and then they will inform the public.
Milić adheres to the position that any civil disobedience in the form of protests and seeking justice on the streets is out of the question, because that would only raise tensions among the people of Niš, and he told "others" not to "break their teeth on Niš".
