Netanyahu: Israel is at war, Hamas will pay the price like never before

"Citizens of Israel, we are at war. And we will win," said the Prime Minister of Israel. Great Britain and the EU condemn the attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after the rocket attacks by Hamas and the infiltration of its members, that Israel is at war.

"Citizens of Israel, we are at war." And we will win," Netanyahu said, The Times of Israel reports.

"The enemy will pay the price like never before," added the Israeli prime minister.

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said that the country condemns the attack by Hamas on Israel, reports Reuters.

"The UK unequivocally condemns the appalling attacks by Hamas on Israeli civilians." "Britain will always support Israel's right to defend itself," Cleverley said in a social media post.

The European Union follows the news coming from Israel with great concern and unequivocally condemns the attacks by Hamas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, announced today.

"This terrible violence must stop immediately." Terrorism and violence do not solve anything. The EU expresses its solidarity with Israel in these difficult times," Borelj wrote on Twitter.

According to the latest information, at least six people died, and more than 300 were injured.
