Students in the blockade of higher education institutions in Belgrade announced for May 10 an action under the slogan "(Don't) be afraid, we're still here", which will start at 11:52 in front of the Faculty of Law with the delivery of mail to the victims of the tragedy in canopy collapse at the railway station in Novi Sad.
As announced on Instagram, after the silence, the action of printing "Students win" stickers will begin, which will last until 14:30 p.m., after which it will move towards the Rectorate building.
From 15 p.m., the walk to the National Assembly, the Faculty of Law, Slavija and the Presidency building starts from the Rectorate.
"See you on Sunday," the students said in the invitation to the meeting.
"War" with stickers
Students in the blockade of universities in Serbia began at the end of April "Students are winning" action of sharing and sticking stickers.
They waved around the country, on the building republican parliament, but also in some cities in the region banners with the same inscription soon.
The ruling Serbian Progressive Party responded even faster with its own slogans.
Thus, "Serbia wins" banners, identical stickers, as well as stickers calling out the former government appeared all over the country.
Preparations for Slavia?
Students in the blockade announced protest on May 23 at Slavija Square in Belgrade. This roundabout has become a symbol of the mass student movement protest, and the first large student gathering in Belgrade after the fall of the canopy of the Novi Sad railway station was held in this very place in December 2024.
"This is a city where there is no reason to be alone in it on May 23," the students of Bajaga quoted in a post on social networks, inviting citizens to come to the new big student protest.
