"The state of Serbia is responsible for the planning, financing and logistics of the attack," said Kosovo Prime Minister Aljbin Kurti
Former vice president of the Serbian List Milan Radoičić is responsible for sabotage on the Ibar-Lepenac canal at the end of November, and "the state of Serbia is responsible for the planning, financing and logistics of the attack", said the Prime Minister of Kosovo on Tuesday Albin Kurti.
He emphasized that the goal of the terrorist group that carried out the attack was to paralyze economic life and energy supply in Kosovo.
"The explosive attack on the Ibar-Lepenac canal on November 29, during which the water canal was destroyed, was aimed at paralyzing economic and energy life in Kosovo and causing unrest, which would result in jeopardizing the national security of Kosovo and the region," Kurti said. , and writes Kosovo online.
Kurti pointed out that Belgrade's refusal to hand over Radoičić is "an encouragement to the terrorist group to continue with other acts against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Kosovo."
"Radoicic, on the basis of information possessed by security institutions in Kosovo, designated two persons close to him to carry out attacks in the north through their groups, and they also participated in the terrorist attack in Banjska." They are Nemanja Radivojević, known by the nickname Gandi, and Vladimir Radivojević, known as Mami," Kurti said.
Kurti also pointed out that Radoičić "heard with members of the Serbian List two hours before the attack on the Ibar-Lepenac channel".
"After the attack, he telephoned, met and heard from high state structures in Serbia and undertook various fictitious actions in order to conceal his responsibility. "The President of Serbia has activated all mechanisms to direct the responsibility to other addresses through the creation of various conspiracies," Kurti said.
He also warned that "new attacks are expected, especially before and after the New Year."
Đurić: An insult to democracy
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Đurić, assessed that Kurti's latest accusations were "another attempt to divert attention from the undemocratic actions of his government, including attempts to ban the Srpska Lista from participating in the elections."
"Such moves are an insult to democracy and a clear threat to regional stability," Đurić announced on the X social network.
He stressed that Serbia will not engage "in the theatrical provocations of Kurti, which he made as part of the political campaign in Kosovo, nor respond to baseless claims."
"Our commitment remains the unwavering protection of the rights of all communities in Kosovo, support for democratic principles and encouragement of genuine dialogue for the benefit of the entire region," Đurić emphasized.
He pointed out that Kurti, instead of creating conflicts, should provide answers to legitimate questions about the lack of evidence for accusations against Serbia.
