Marija Ranđelović, former partner of the minister and one of the key people Serbian Progressive Party Darko Glišić, during the time they were together she bought three real estate – apartment in the very center Kraljeva and two apartments in tourist destinations Kopaonik and Divčibare, reveals KRIK.
Ranđelović, who until then did not own any real estate, bought as many as three apartments in four years - in the city where she lives, but also in well-known Serbian tourist centers, writes KRIK.
In 2019, she bought an apartment in the very center of Kraljevo, and then in 2022, she bought two apartments under construction - in Kopaonik and Divčibare. According to KRIK, these apartments are worth at least 175.000 euros.
In a conversation with KRIK journalists, whom Ranđelović found at her workplace in Kraljevo, she said that she bought the cheapest of these three properties, an apartment in Kraljevo, with her salary and with the help of a loan. As for the apartments on the popular Serbian mountains, she denies that she is their owner - despite the evidence presented to her by the journalists.
Properties from 175.000 euros
Ranđelović paid 63.000 euros for the apartment in Kopaonik, and 52.500 euros for the apartment in Kraljevo, according to the data of the court in Ub. The court does not have information on how much she paid for the 30-square-meter apartment in Divčibare, but the real estate agency estimated it at 60.000 euros.
Ranđelović claims for KRIK that she is not the owner of the apartment, although the journalists of that portal obtained official documents that show that she signed the contracts for their purchase.
With her earnings at the Poštanska štedionica in Kraljevo, she could not afford this, the portal states.
Ranđelović, however, claims that only one property is hers and it was bought on credit.
For Marija Ranđelović, an employee of the Postal Savings Bank in Kraljevo, everything started to improve precisely in the period after she entered into an emotional relationship with one of the key members of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Darko Glišić, writes KRIK.
Accelerated progress…
She quickly progressed in business: in 2020, after only four years of working at the bank, the then thirty-two-year-old Ranđelović became the director of the Regional Center of the Postal Savings Bank in Kraljevo. Then she was appointed to the supervisory board of the well-known Serbian carrier Lasta. But her jump was not only reflected in new business positions.
Ranđelović, in a conversation with KRIK journalists, did not want to comment on her relationship with a powerful SNS official. When Glišić was mentioned, she shrugged her shoulders and decided not to talk about him, writes KRIK.
Darko Glišić, who is currently the Minister for Public Investments, did not answer the questions sent to him by KRIK. Instead, he blocked the phone numbers of KRIK journalists.
... and the even faster decline of Marija Ranđelović
The emotional relationship between Marija Ranđelović and Darko Glišić most likely ended in 2023. After that, Marija Ranđelović's business went downhill. She began to lose positions - from 2023 she is no longer a board member in Lasta, and at the beginning of 2024 she also lost her directorship in the bank, writes KRIK.
Not long after that, she started receiving threats from unknown persons with two different Facebook profiles, which she reported in both Kraljevo and Belgrade and filed a criminal complaint for persecution. These two cases did not receive an epilogue.
