Kostadin Terzić, the son of the director of "Crvena zvezda" Zvezdan Terzić, is a co-owner of the company that participated in the construction of "Belgrade on the water", as well as the gas pipeline Aleksandrovac - Tutin, reveals KRIK. These jobs for the younger Terzić were made possible by the company "Milenium Team" connected to high state officials of SNS, reports KRIK.
Through his companies, Kostadin Terzić teamed up with a number of personalities from the Serbian underground, including people close to the aggressive hooligan group "Ultra boys", as well as "Alcatraz", KRIK research shows.
Kostadin and his younger brother Nikša Terzić were arrested last month on suspicion of beating football manager Uroš Janković in Belgrade. On October 17, after the match between Serbia and Montenegro, they allegedly intercepted the car in which Janković was, pulled him out of the car and beat him.
At the hearing at the prosecution, the Terzićs denied guilt, and the court ordered them to be detained in the meantime, the prosecution told KRIK. The prosecution has not yet determined what caused the fight.
The Terzićs grew up in front of the public, since their father Zvezdan held important positions in domestic football for years. They were the favorites of the yellow press, which presented them as young, attractive and wealthy. It was written in detail about their travels, emotional relationships, family celebrations, weddings.
In contrast to the details of their private lives, the media never reported on what the sons of the directors of "Crvena zvezda" do.
While Nikša got a job at the intelligence agency BIA three years ago, his brother Kostadin created a network of companies, KRIK reveals. It is precisely these transactions that reveal that Terzić's son also received a piece of the "cake" in the construction of a key state project - the housing and business complex "Belgrade on the Water". In addition, Kostadin often opened companies with people from the criminal milieu - Slobodan Govedarica, close to the Hugan group "Ultra boys", Nikola Vavić from "Alcatraz", but also with Naika Bokan, the daughter of the murdered famous mobster Vanja Bokan, who cooperated in business with drug lord Darko Sarić.
Terzić's older son, Kostadin, followed in his father's footsteps - he worked for two years in the Football Association of Serbia, then for a short time in "Crvena Zvezda", and at the end of last year he took an important position in the football club "OFK Belgrade". At the same time, he entered into lucrative construction business - he became a co-owner of the company "Goter Construction".
At the end of 2020, he received half of the ownership in this company as a gift from Slobodan Govedarica, a close friend and associate of Zvezdan Terzić. Govedarica was once known as an avid fan of "Crvena zvezda" close to the hooligan team from Senjak "Ultra boys", led by Marko Vučković aka Commander.
For years, Vučković was the first man in Zvezda's northern stand. He was known for numerous violent incidents - fights, robberies and beatings, but he mostly got away with small or suspended sentences. From a hooligan, Vučković became a successful businessman thanks to the jobs that the companies associated with him received from the state, as Insider wrote earlier.
Govedarica, who was accused in 2006 of beating a man in the gym because he commented on his tattoo, had a similar journey, but the proceedings were suspended due to the statute of limitations. Today, Govedarica is the director of the football club "Grafičar", which under his management and with the support of Terzić, signed a cooperation agreement with Zvezda, which includes the exchange of players and coaches.
As KRIK writes, when Kostadin Terzić received half of the ownership in "Goter Construction" from Govedarica, the company was able to secure profitable business in a short time and in two years, it generated an income of around two million euros.
They succeeded in this mostly thanks to the company "Millenium Team", whose owners are close to the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, but also occupy important positions in the management of the sports club and football club "Crvena zvezda" - together with Zvezdan Terzić.
