President of the Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic she stated on Wednesday that the deputies opposition the goal was not to enter the House of the National Assembly, but to remove and destroy the tents located in front of the parliament building. She did not explain why the tents surrounded by a metal fence guarded by the police are standing in the middle of the street in front of the Assembly, why they are also provided by the vehicles of the utility company, and why the public space has been occupied for months, and citizens are prohibited from passing through Ćaciland.
As evidence for her claims, Brnabić showed video footage of the incident in front of the press conference Assembly of Serbia, and as the crowning evidence for the allegedly malicious actions of the opposition, she showed a photo showing how Serbia Center Party MP Stefan Janjić is holding large rebar scissors in his hands, with the comment: "You see how certain MPs come to their workplace".
The representative of the Serbian Progressive Party also rode that wave Nebojša Bakarec who published a photo of Janjić on the X social network with the comment that he is "ready to kill" and that the opposition MPs are "like Ustasha"come to" Chaciland "armed with pliers, scissors, rods and cleavers, ready to kill".

Brnabić: Who has ever laughed at the opposition?
Brnabić showed a video that she stated "clearly and unequivocally shows that no one was forbidden to enter their workplace in the National Assembly of the Republic Of Serbia at the main entrance".
"They didn't even set out to enter their workplace. Their goal was to destroy and remove the tents," said Brnabić.
She assessed that the intention of the opposition MPs was to first remove the tents located in front of the entrance to the House of National Assembly, and then to remove the tents in Ćaciland, "and not to come to the workplace".
"No one attacked the members of the opposition, no one chased them and no one was near them. People ran when they saw that the intention was to destroy and tear down the tents," said Brnabić.
Brnabić: The people of Ćaciland have had enough of terror
Brnabić asked "who are the people from Ćaciland or anyone else, or MPs." Serbian Progressive Party, ever kidding and trying to destroy anyone's tent, tent Diana Hrka, or kiddisao to free the faculties which are the faculties of all our citizens and all students".
She stated that the opposition MPs do not understand that the people of Ćaciland "have had enough of everything, that they have had enough of harassment, terror, blockades, that they are having all their human and civil rights taken away".
Brnabić also stated that one member of the opposition "hit the girl in the head because she wanted to protect the tent".
Tabloid offensive
That statement of hers was a kind of "green light" for the pro-regime tabloids, which, according to the tried and tested recipe, published almost identical texts about how the opposition MP was "rudely pushed away", "brutally beaten" or "knocked to the floor with a strong blow".
In those texts, an aerial video, most likely taken by a camera mounted on a drone, appeared, showing a man pushing and knocking a person to the ground whose gender cannot be reliably determined.
The texts are, as expected, bombastically titled:

Branka Lazić interviewed the victim
For the purposes of spin, the Informer journalist Branka Lazic she spoke to a woman who introduced herself as Maria, who said:
"I was on the plateau, they came in with those pliers, they cut the fence and started tearing down the tents, we all ran to stop them. A man came to my right and pushed me with all his strength, I started falling down the stairs, one of the citizens held me and I fell into the tent. I was out of breath. That man is bald and has a gray coat."
That "bald guy with a gray coat" tabloid Hello! he identified as MP Aleksandar Radovanović with allegations that he "hit the girl in the head with his fist".
"The Boss in Chaciland"
The president of the National Movement of Serbia (NPS), Miroslav Aleksić, said that his colleague Borislav Novaković was attacked on the steps of the National Assembly, when several deputies tried to pass through Ćaciland and enter the parliament at the main entrance.
"My colleague Borislav Novaković was first attacked by a certain Karađorđe Mijailović, who attacked him on the steps of the Parliament. Not on the street, not there in Ćaciland, but on the steps of the Parliament," Aleksić said at the press conference.
Aleksić said that first Mijailović attacked Novaković, and then Novaković was hit by another person, when his glasses fell out.
"I expect the competent institutions to establish the identity of this man, and we will file charges against that man as well as against this 'Chief of Ćaciland' Karađorđ Mijailović, who is from Šabac," Aleksić said.
Aleksić also played audio recordings at the conference and said that "Mijailović is also letting the policemen" into Ćaciland.
On the recordings, several people can be heard communicating via walkie-talkie, and it was repeated several times that "Karađorđe must approve", possibly entering Ćaciland.
Karađorđe Mijailović is a "SNS loyalist" who was seen at several protests that were held in the previous months, where SNS supporters were also present as provocateurs.
Mijailović was previously photographed in the camp organized by SNS supporters in Pionirski Park, in front of the Presidency of Serbia, before it spread towards the parliament.
