The payment of the supplement to pensions in Serbia of less than 65.716,70 dinars will be up to five percent of the amount of the December pension
Government of Serbia on Friday passed the Decree on conditions, amount, coverage of beneficiaries pension and the dynamics of the payment of the monetary amount as an increase in addition to the pension, which stipulates that the increase is paid to beneficiaries of old-age, premature old-age, disability and family pensions, whose pension amount from that for December 2024, including the pension for November 2025, amounts to 65.716,70, XNUMX dinars, writes the New Economy.
It was not clear from the government announcement how much the supplement will be.
Since October 2018, the government has prescribed a monetary amount as an increase with a pension up to a certain limit, and it is calculated once a year and amounts to up to five percent of an individual pension, and the limit increases every time pensions are increased.
For the first time this year, pensions were increased in December instead of January, and the increase is 10,9 percent, so the supplement will be paid on the increased December pension up to a limit of 65.716,70 dinars.
This means that pensioners, who will be paid an increased December pension in January and which is less than that limit, will receive a supplement in the amount of up to five percent of their pension, and it will be calculated so that the total amount of the pension, together with the supplement, does not exceed prescribed limit.
