General Staff
Trump's son-in-law raised his hands from the General Staff?
After the protest and the indictment against Minister Selaković, Jared Kushner gave up building a hotel in Belgrade, the Wall Street Journal writes.

After the collapse of the "Serbia against violence" coalition, the opposition parties independently decide whether and in which municipalities and cities they will go to the polls. In some places there is no opposition at all, while in others the opposition parties go to the elections united. In front of you is a guide - where the opposition is going to the elections, in what composition and under what name
The array of electoral lists can cause headaches for the average voter, primarily due to the partial boycott. The former coalition "Serbia against violence" split into factions.
"I believe that opposition voters will be disappointed and demotivated, especially big supporters of 'Serbia against violence' who believed in the idea of unity. Additional confusion is brought by the fact that completely different coalitions have been formed in different municipalities", says Cvijetinn Milivojević for "Vreme".
The main topic of the upcoming elections is Belgrade, so it is quite clear that the parties of the opposition and the authorities have intensified their fight for the votes of the residents of the Serbian capital. However, in what composition will the opposition parties go to the elections on June 2 in the cities in the interior of Serbia?
VALJEVO
Part of the parties from the "Serbia against violence" coalition, united on one list together with the New DSS, will take part in the elections in Valjevo. The name of the coalition is "United Valjevo can", and it consists of the Democratic Party, the Green-Left Front, the Local Front of Valjevo, the People's Movement of Serbia, the Party of Freedom and Justice, the New Face of Serbia and the New Democratic Party.
ČACAK
In Čačak, the opposition will perform in several columns. The electoral list "Čačak against violence and the New DSS" consists of the Democratic Party, the People's Movement of Serbia, Serbia Center (SRCE), New Face of Serbia, GG "Čačak je naš" and the New DSS. The Dveri party is going to the elections independently, and the People's Party is under the auspices of the "All for Čačak" coalition, which also includes Nova Serbia - Velimir Ilić, the Farmers' Movement of Serbia, prof. Dr. Vladislav Papić, POKS - Goran Petrović. SSP decided to boycott these elections.
ROPES
There is a specific situation in Užice as well. In this city, one electoral list consists of the New DSS and the New Face of Serbia - Miloš Parandilović's party, which is part of the "Serbia against violence" coalition. The electoral list "Užice Democratic Front" consists of the Democratic Party and Serbia Center. The Green-Left Front and the People's Movement of Serbia formed the coalition "I choose the fight - I choose Užice" in Užice. The People's Party in a coalition with Dveri and POKS will participate in the elections, and the list holder is former MP Ivana Parlić. It is also interesting that in Užice and in neighboring Čajetina, Milan Stamatović's "Healthy Serbia" party participates in local elections independently, despite earlier announcements by the president of the party that he will participate in the elections with the Serbian Progressive Party, as he called voter migration "legal and legitimate".
FIREFIGHTER
In Požarevac, the coalition "I choose the fight", which consists of the People's Movement of Serbia, the Democratic Party and the People's Party, is going to the polls. In this city, POKS and "Mi - the voice of the people" are going to the elections independently, and the Citizens' Group "Iskorak" and the Wallachian Party will also participate.
JAGODINA
Miloš Parandilović's "Novo lice Srbije" list in coalition with Dveri and the "BUNT - Prava Srbija" party is running for the elections in Jagodina. There is also the list "Jagodina deserves better", which consists of the People's Movement of Serbia, the Democratic Party, the Social Democratic Party, the Movement of Free Citizens, Jagodina Against Violence, the Right to Choose and the Environmental Uprising.
NIS
In Niš, the New DSS decided to participate in the elections in the coalition "United - Hope for Niš". The coalition consists of the New Democratic Party of Serbia, Niš moj grad, the People's Party, the Social Democratic Party, Dosta je bilo, the Democratic Union of Roma and 12 citizens' associations. Also, the "Biramo Niš" coalition in Niš has the same composition as in Belgrade, because all the members of "Serbia Against Violence" participate in the elections, except SSP, SRCE and Zajedno. In addition, the Russian Party, as well as the group of citizens "Dr. Dragan Milić" participate in the elections.
GORNJI MILANOVAC
The "Biram bolji Milanovac" coalition, which consists of the Democratic Party, the Movement of Free Citizens and the "Sloga" trade union, is participating in the local elections in Gornji Milanovac.
NOVI SAD
The united opposition under the name "United for a free Novi Sad", which consists of only 12 parties and movements, is going to the elections in Novi Sad. Those parties are SSP, NPS, Democratic Party, Serbia Center, Civil Movement Bravo, Green-Left Front, Movement of Free Citizens, Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, New DSS, League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, Ecological Uprising and Movement for Turnaround. The "Kreni-promeni" movement will contest the elections in Novi Sad independently.
ZRENJANIN
In Zrenjanin, the newspaper "And water and freedom - the united opposition of Zrenjanin" is published under number four. Part of this opposition bloc are the Party of Freedom and Justice, the New Democratic Party of Serbia, the Movement of Free Citizens and the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia. The SRCE party joined a coalition whose name symbolically combines the names of the old and new coalitions: "Zrenjanin against violence - we choose Zrenjanin". The coalition consists of the Democratic Party, Zajedno, Green-Left Front, League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina - Vojvodina, People's Movement of Serbia - Miroslav Aleksić, New Face of Serbia - Miloš Parandilović, Serbia Center - Zdravko Ponoš.
PANČEVO
The situation is similar in Pančevo, where the opposition will come out under the name "Pančevo against violence - I choose the fight". The coalition consists of NPS, Democratic Party, League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, Zajedno, Green-Left Front and Serbia Center.
VRŠAC
The vice-president of the Democratic Party, Dragana Rakić, announced that the "Vršac deserves better" coalition was formed for the local elections, which brought together five parties: the Democratic Party, the People's Movement of Serbia, the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, New DSS and POKS.
KIKINDA
In Kikinda, the opposition is going to the elections with two lists. The list "Choose change - United opposition of Kikinda - Mirko Šoć" is the third. On this list are: LSV - Vojvodina, SSP, POKS, NPS, Serbian Movement Dveri, Social Democratic Party, SRCE, Democratic Community of Vojvodina Hungarians and Movement for Upheaval. In fourth position is another coalition bloc "I choose the fight! I choose Kikinda!" which consists of the Democratic Party, the Green-Left Front and the Movement of Free Citizens.
SATURDAY
The Democratic Party, NPS, LSV, Green-Left Front and Democratic Community of Croats will participate in the elections as part of the "Subotica against violence - I choose Subotica - Nela Tonković" coalition.
LITTLE CAMPAIGN TIME
"We now have few opposition options. After the decision to boycott part of the parties from the SPN, many citizens will no longer vote for the 'Biram Borbu' coalition. In addition to this coalition, two other opposition options stood out: the 'Go-change' movement and the movement of Dr. Branimir Nestorović. I believe that part of the votes of voters disappointed in the SPN will go to these lists," explains Cvijetin Milivojević.
And indeed, the parties participating in the elections on June 2 have little time left to conduct the election campaign. The ProGlas initiative, which made a major contribution during the previous election campaign, stated in an official statement that due to the broken unity of the opposition, it will not advertise until June 3. And what awaits us after the elections, when after intense negotiations, divisions, attempts to revive unity and coalition combinations that vary from municipality to municipality, a new day dawns - it is still not certain.
Municipalities in which no electoral list has been declared with at least one party from "Serbia Against Violence" are Mali Iđoš, Nova Crnja, Ada, Novi Kneževac, Bela Crkva, Opovo, Plandište, Beočin, Bečej, Srbobran, Sremski Karlovci , Svilajnac, Boljevac and Bosilegrad.
Even in Tutin and Sjenica, this part of the opposition will not participate in the elections. Namely, the Municipal Electoral Commission in Tutin has confirmed three lists that will compete for council seats: the first list is "SDA Sandžak - Dr. Sulejman Ugljanin", and the other two are the list "Amanet muftijin - Za ponosan Tutin - Usame Zukorlić", as well as list "Our choice - Zaim Redžepović".
Four election lists were announced in Sjenica. The first announced list is "Aleksandar Vučić - Sjenica sutra", a coalition list with candidates for councilors from SNS, SPS, SRS and Zavetnik. In addition to it, the following lists were announced: "Mufti's legacy, President Munib - Usame Zukorlić", then the list "SDA Sandžaka - Dr. Sulejman Ugljanin", as well as SDP - SDPS - Rasim Ljajić - New People for New Times".
