Sixty percent of Serbian citizens support the current ones student protests, while 32 percent oppose those protests, it shows expression of New Serbian political thought which "Vreme" publishes in a new issue on Thursday (March 20).
It is interesting that 44,7 percent of people also support the idea of students organizing politically and appearing in some upcoming elections - with 26,8 percent saying that they would be inclined to vote for that "student" option (and another 26,3 percent saying that they "might vote for it").
The opposition's first advantage
Đorđe Vukadinović writes that despite the appearance of coolness played by the President of Serbia, Vučić's position resembles a chicken that gets entangled in its own political and propaganda chickens.
"In other words, he has weakened, so to speak, in the fairy tale of 'historic' and 'never higher' rating himself (although it is not entirely clear). But, more importantly, his environment and the 'middle echelons' also believe in it. That is why he, and not the student or the opposition, pushed the story of 'Dan de'."
Namely, according to the survey, the rating of the Serbian Progressive Party fell to 36 percent without undecided citizens.
With undecided respondents, when asked who they would vote for, around 33 percent choose the government, 41 the opposition, while 26 percent are undecided.
This is the first time since the SNS came to power that such an advantage of the opposition has been detected in research at the republican level.
