The Irshot organization, based on hundreds of statements and videos from the protests in Belgrade on March 15, claims that acoustic weapons were "very likely" used on peaceful demonstrators.
A new report by the Earshot organization states that it is "highly likely" that the protesters, who March 15, 2025. participated in 15 minutes of silence, were the target of a targeted attack using a directed acoustic weapons.
As Irshot states in a post on the X social network, the research included audio recordings from 19 video recordings of the protest, over 3.000 written statements of the participants, 15 interviews with witnesses, so-called. "earwitnesses", which were located along Ulica Kralja Milana.
These findings, according to Irshot, directly contradict the claims of the security services of the Russian Federation (FSB) and the Serbian authorities, which attributed the causes of the disturbance to pyrotechnics and noise from the crowd.
"Vreme" previously wrote about the mysterious roar that caused mass panic on March 15. From the information collected by "Vremen" journalists, a large research was created - The "Hook" file.

Audio reconstruction
The Irshott organization published on the social network YouTube a reconstruction of the sound, which, according to them, represents the "sonic identikit" of the attack, which remained elusive for official recordings, despite a large number of testimonies from citizens.
"After carefully listening to the witnesses' precise and consistent aural descriptions, Irshott was able to produce this audio reconstruction, which approximates the sound of the attack," the post said.
The sound that was reconstructed, they say, was still not captured by any recording, which they say they explain in detail in the report accompanying the audio file.
"The reconstructed sound serves as a sonic identikit of the fugitive sound that, despite an overwhelming number of eyewitness accounts, was denied by the authorities and eluded the recording devices," says Irshott.
The goal of this reconstruction, as they point out, is to "materialize the experience of thousands of people" who claimed to have heard the attack, but their testimonies were systematically ignored.
The Irshott organization collects and analyzes testimonies about sound events that are often beyond the reach of official sources, and their reports point to new methods of documenting crimes and repression - through hearing, not exclusively through recordings and visual evidence.
First analysis: vortex
Non-governmental organization Earshot she previously announced on March 17, when they announced that the sonic boom recorded on the recordings two days earlier matched the vortex cannon and showed that the source of the sound was at least 700 meters from where it was recorded.
Activists in Serbia contacted this international non-governmental organization on March 16 and asked to investigate whether the authorities in Serbia used sonic weapons on protesters who are in silently paid tribute to the victims of the collapse of the railway station canopy in Novi Sad.
Irshott obtained 12 videos documenting moments in which weapons were allegedly used against protesters. Four of those videos contain sound consistent with the noise produced by the Vortex Ring Gun or Vortex Cannon, Irshott said at the time.
