After the SIPA inspectors tried to deliver an arrest warrant to the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, there was a quick reaction of the entity police, who removed them. Dodik said that he feels safe and that he does not recognize the jurisdiction of the state police agency on the territory of Republika Srpska
SIPA inspectors came in front of the Administrative Center Government of Republika Srpska in East Sarajevo, where the meeting of the president of the RS was held Milorad Dodik with the mayors of the municipalities of East Sarajevo and the mayor, with the intention of handing him an arrest warrant.
The police of Srpska removed the inspectors.
Dodik says that SIPA violated the law and has no right to act on the territory of RS.
There were three SIPA inspectors, SIPA confirmed for RTRS.
As the RTRS reporter reported, the inspectors came to deliver the order to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
The Police of Srpska reacted and said that it was not possible.
After that, the inspectors moved away, reports RTRS.
SIPA spokeswoman Jelena Miovčić confirmed for RTRS that SIPA inspectors came in front of the Administrative Center of the Government of the RS in East Sarajevo with the intention of implementing the order to arrest the President of the RS Milorad Dodik.
The Court of BiH previously issued an order to issue a warrant for Dodik, as well as for RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković and RS Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić.
Dodik: SIPA violated the law, it has no right to act on the territory of RS
The President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, said that the members of the BiH Investigation and Protection Agency broke the law and told them that they do not have the authority to act on the territory of the Republic of Srpska.
"I feel good and safe in East Sarajevo," said Dodik in a statement to journalists.
The President of Republika Srpska said that he has no intention of leaving the headquarters of the Administrative Center under pressure.
"This is the Republika Srpska, and SIPA has broken the law," said Dodik, pointing out that the brother of Kemal Ademović, who was the wartime head of AID, was in front of the headquarters of the RS Administrative Center tonight.
"This is not the territory where the power of BiH is exercised," warned Dodik.
The President of Republika Srpska pointed out that Kristijan Schmidt will be held accountable for impersonating himself.
