From July 1, citizens will pay a commission when paying their Infostan bill, which is a cost they have not had until now. writes the New Economy. The decision to cancel this "benefit" for citizens was made by the City of Belgrade in mid-April.
From July 1, the banking fee for payments through the e.Sanduče platform will amount to 50 dinars per transaction, regardless of the amount of the payment, they stated in their response to Nova eknomija from PUK "Infostan tehnologije", and that the payment service providers will rate and charge the fees at receiving payments and in accordance with its business policy.
Jovan Ristić, a lawyer in the association for consumer protection "Effectiva", told Nova Ekonomija that this change was the decision of the City of Belgrade, not the decision of PUK "Infostan tehnologije", because the City of Belgrade made a decision in April to take away this "benefit" from citizens.
Last year, this company issued more than 9,5 million invoices, it can be seen in the Information about the work of that company. If we consider that an average commission of 50 dinars is paid per account, that is about 475 million dinars or exactly four million euros that citizens and companies in the capital will have to pay annually in the future.
Thus, the citizens of Belgrade will pay at the bridge, a part of what their mayor is Aleksandar Šapić promised that he will receive a gift on the bridge in the fall.
At the session of the City Assembly, where ten days ago the rebalancing of Belgrade's budget was discussed, Šapić said that it would provide money for free English lessons in preschool institutions.
He also announced the introduction of air purifiers in all kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, which will be maintained and serviced by the City.
