In several locations in Belgrade, Zvornik and Banja Luka arrested are more people being linked to the case known as "snipers deployed", announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The action was carried out as part of the joint activities of the Ministry of Interior and the Security and Information Agency.
Competent state authorities continue intensive work on elucidating all the circumstances and facts related to this case, according to the announcement.
MUP of Republika Srpska: One person was arrested in Zvornik
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska announced that in Zvornik, in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH, the Security and Information Agency of the Republic of Serbia and the Service for Combating Organized Crime of the UKP of the MUP of the Republic of Serbia, DD was arrested
As stated in the announcement, the police officers of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime in the past period came to know that the mentioned person is staying illegally in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he is using a false identity and forged documents from the Czech Republic.
"The aforementioned person has previously been associated with belonging to one of the organized criminal groups from the region. Within the framework of operational cooperation with police and security agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the surrounding area, it was learned that the aforementioned may be involved in the planning and execution of criminal acts against the safety of people and property", according to the MUP of Republika Srpska.
Vucic is chasing "snipers"
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said on Monday that the competent authorities are already trying to find two snipers who, according to intelligence data, came to Belgrade.
He said that it is known where the money they received came from and expressed the hope that the competent services will be able to solve the case.
