The Ministry of Education additionally announced that "the academic year can be extended only for those schools that do not make up for the missed classes in the academic year."
That extension, as stated, can be a maximum of five working days and only for those schools that fail to organize the implementation of educational work in the academic year in accordance with the Calendar of Educational Work.
According to Đukić Dejanović, the possible extension of the academic year will only apply to those schools that will not be able to make up the material due to the suspension of work in this academic year.
"Minister Đukić Dejanović confirmed that the final exam at the end of primary education will be held. The public will be informed in a timely manner about the eventual postponement of the date for taking the final exam," it was stated in the announcement.
