Deputy in the Serbian Parliament, Vladimir Đukanović, said today, during a guest appearance on the Morning Program on Pink, that "cultural workers can strike until they pass out", and that he would "privatize all theaters", reports N1.
He told the actors that they are "totally a snobbish, irrelevant part of society"...
"When I hear those cultural workers, those actors, I cheer, please people, go on strike until you're unconscious." So I don't care at all whether the actors will work or not. I don't really care. I am in favor of privatizing theaters. What would I pay for that?", asked the MP.
He said that "the state gives money to (actors) through Telekom".
"The state pays for your movies, your piggies." You also come, strike and rally. I don't care if you get royalties or salaries. I'm rooting for actors to strike forever. I'm not interested in them at all. I never respected their opinion either. So, totally a snobbish, irrelevant part of society, as far as I'm concerned," Đukanović assessed.
