Đorđe Miketić from the Initiative "The bridge remains"he announced on the X social network that the government is using force again, since there are about 200 members tonight Police brigades and the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) removed the tent and dispersed them from the Old Sava Bridge, where the blockade has been ongoing since yesterday to prevent its demolition.
As Miketić stated, about 200 members of the Police Brigade and UKP "ran over" the tent on the New Belgrade side and dispersed ten bridge guards in the presence of MP Branko Miljuš from the Freedom of Justice movement.
He added that they have been legitimized and that arrests are possible.
"One thing is clear, they will use all force for the sake of expanding their Belgrade on the water," he added.
When asked where the activists are now, Miketić replied: "At BAS".
Let us remind you that activists and some opposition MPs and councilors blocked the Old Sava Bridge early yesterday morning in order to prevent its demolition. As of yesterday, at least one member of parliament will be among those defending the bridge at any moment.
As Đorđe Miketić announced, it was agreed to set up a second camp, on the very bridge on the New Belgrade side.
