Minister of Interior Affairs Ivica Dacic stated that Faton Hajrizi, who was liquidated near Loznica, was a "proven killer", pointed out that terrorist act when someone attacks the country and announces that they will be determined what were the goals and motives of Faton Hayrizi.
"We ask Germany if he was really in Germany, but they don't answer. They don't answer those questions, and every day they put pressure on Serbia because of what happened in Banjska. Come on, answer the simple questions - was he in Germany and if so, how did he come there," said Dacic.
He also said that the important question is why EULEX did not issue an international, Interpol warrant for Faton Hajrizi if he escaped from prison.
Dacic recalled that there was a doubt about his identity, because even today the Serbian authorities do not have documents in his name, but they have a passport of the temporary Kosovo authorities and a German identity card in the name of his brother Artan Hajrizi.
Dacic said that, when the Serbian authorities request data from EULEX, "they say - we cannot give it due to the protection of personal data".
No response from Germany
"The German police do not give an answer as to whether he was really in Hanover or not." If he was in Hanover on the 16th (of July) and in the afternoon of the 17th in Preševo, someone please explain to us how and why he would have come to Preševo. If his brother lied that he was on July 16, then he should be punished as an accomplice and arrested," Dacic said regarding Artan Hajrizi's statement in Germany that his brother stole his documents.
According to Dacic, it should be seen how he got to Preševo when he did not legally cross the administrative line, stating that "the police are looking, but that dozens of people there are not at their home address, and then it is known that they have escaped, so in that participated".
He pointed out that Faton Hajrizi was a proven multiple murderer with no intention of surrendering to the Serbian authorities, but immediately shot twice at the policemen in the car, the participants of the search, but he missed them and one of the policemen wounded him when he returned fire, after which ran away in the direction of the forest.
Dacic said that he was then liquidated by the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit and that before he was killed he shot at the police a total of nine times.
