Students in the blockade they announced that in Novi Sad at 16:XNUMX p.m., a protest will be organized due to the beating of students in that city, who were attacked in front of the party premises of the Serbian Progressive Party in that city.
Towards the end of the blockade, one of the students addressed his colleagues through a megaphone:
"At around half past four tonight, our colleague from the Academy of Arts was beaten with a bat, and that's why in Novi Sad, today, at 16:XNUMX p.m., in front of the SNS premises on the Boulevard of Liberation, we are all gathering to express to Ana and other students who were beaten. To stop everyone trampling and beating us. Please come to Novi Sad, if you can't, at least spread the word to everyone else," said the student in his address.

Prosecution: Urgent action is necessary to find the attackers of students in Novi Sad
The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad announced that urgent action is necessary in order to determine the identity of the attackers of the students in Novi Sad and to find them, as well as the timely collection of all evidence.
The Prosecutor's Office also states in the statement that it has ordered the taking of all available measures and actions, the taking of video surveillance recordings of the event, the conduct of interviews with the injured parties as well as other persons.
"Due to the events during the night of January 27/28.01.2025, 29. year in Novi Sad, we inform the public that in connection with the attack on a group of students G.K., K.S. and VA in ul. of the Novi Sad fair against number 344 The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad gave the legal qualification that there are grounds for suspecting that the criminal offense of violent behavior under Art. 1 paragraph 121 of the Criminal Code and the crime of grievous bodily harm from Art. 1 st. XNUMX of the Criminal Code".
Also, as it is added, in connection with the attack on two students PM and K.S. near the premises of the political party "SNS" on Oslobođenja Boulevard no. 36, the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad gave the legal qualification of the event, namely that there are grounds for suspecting that the crime of violent behavior was committed.
"The public will be informed in a timely manner about all further procedural decisions," the announcement reads.
