President Forum of Belgrade high schools Ana Dmitrijević stated that te schools from tomorrow, after the end of the Easter holidays, it will still not function at full capacity, although such a decision has been made in some collectives.
"Where certain collectives decided to return, the students decided not to return," said Ana Dimitrijević and cited the example of Sveti Sava High School, where the teachers decided to hold classes and the students to establish a 24-hour blockade of that school.
According to her, the blockade of school buildings will also affect the employees of the First Belgrade High School and the Philological High School.
Ana Dimitrijević also stated that at the Seventh Belgrade High School, part of the teachers will return to classes tomorrow, while others remain suspended, and that it is the same at the Thirteenth Belgrade High School.
In the Ninth Belgrade High School, of which she is also a part, the teachers decided by the majority to return to classes, but the students have a plenum tomorrow, so they will make their decision.
"There is a real situation that we are facing, and that is that the teachers who intend to hold classes tomorrow will, in fact, enter empty classrooms in some schools," said Ana Dimitrijević.
She points out that further strategies are being worked on, and adds that the decision to return to classes in some schools is by no means giving up.
"We are regrouping and collecting snow for the future. All this is taking too long. This may be a break, I would call it that," said Ana Dimitrijević.
She added that the appointment of the new Minister of Education, Dejan Vuk Stanković, "is a finger in the eye that really angered educators, so new actions and reactions can be expected on that occasion as well."
Precisely because of the appointment of the new minister of education, two protests are being organized tomorrow in front of that ministry in Nemanja Street - the United Education of Serbia is calling for a seven o'clock protest, and the second one at 11:45 a.m. - the Independent Association of Educators of Serbia.
