Prior to this, US-Ukrainian talks were held in Saudi Arabia, during which Kiev agreed to the US proposal on a ceasefire, but Moscow asked Washington to provide details of the agreement.

After talks in the Red Sea city of Jeddah, the two sides also agreed to conclude, as soon as possible, an agreement on Ukraine's mineral resources, the statement said.
"Respite" for the Ukrainian army
On Thursday, Ushakov criticized the American-Ukrainian proposal for a cease-fire, saying that it would only be a "respite" for the Ukrainian army.
"This will be nothing more than a temporary respite for the Ukrainian army, nothing more." It seems to me that in this situation no one needs steps that imitate peaceful actions," Ushakov told state media after talking to Volz.
