Two Embassy employees Great Britain was exposed to harassment in Belgrade during a recent visit To Aranđelovac, the embassy announced.
A video has appeared in the public where an unknown person approaches Zvezdana Crnogorac and people in a cafe and questions her about the reasons for her visit to Arandjelovac.
In the video, you can hear how the man asks questions to the employees of embassy, while calling them "foreign mercenaries" and making other accusations. According to the embassy, the employees then got up and left the cafe, but the man continued to follow them and film them.
As it was announced, the representatives of the embassy were on a routine diplomatic visit, during which they were supposed to meet with the representatives of the local self-government and the opposition.
"We are deeply disappointed because two people aggressively approached them, harassed them and prevented them from doing their work. Such activities are unacceptable, they undermine the reputation of Serbia and reduce the possibility of mutual cooperation for the benefit of both countries," the British Embassy announced.
The video was broadcast by Informer TV, after which the British Embassy reacted and condemned such behavior.
Arandjelovac is one of the municipalities where local elections will be held on March 29.
