A few hours after today Miroslav Aleksić showed a letter about the alleged corruption affair regarding the Serbian Progressive Party, President Aleksandar Vučić, from Niš, spoke in the National Daily TV Pink.
Miroslav Aleksić, the holder of the "Serbia against violence" electoral list, today called on the Prosecutor's Office to establish the credibility of the letter that the former owner of the Objektiv tabloid, Aleksandar Papić, allegedly sent to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, regarding corruption during the construction of the Ruma-Sabac-Loznica highway, in which it is written that the Azerbaijani company Azvirt, which is engaged in the construction of that highway, gave eight million euros to the Serbian Progressive Party through the former director of the Corridor of Serbia, Dmitr Đurović.
The president denied that he had received such a letter.
"The letter fell from the sky and no one signed it." "I asked my relatives if any letter had arrived, but no letter had arrived," he said.
However, he added:
"I invite the Prosecutor's Office to check."
The Prosecutor's Office will have to respond to the President's call. It is not difficult to guess what the result of the check will be.
