This morning, students from Niš entered the building of the branch of the National Employment Service, then formed a line and asked questions at the counter about how to get a job without graduating from university, Juzne Vesti reports.
They want a job like "those who camped in Pioneer Park".
With the "FT1P" action, they say, they want to block institutions that are certainly "paralyzed".
The clerks at the counter were also asked sarcastically how to get a job if they "only have a diploma" but no party card.
The officials answered them seriously that they must first be registered with the NES, fill out forms and bring a high school diploma. They also referred them to other institutions, stating that "they are not competent."
One employee told N1 that "she likes this student's action, like everything they do."
There were no incidents, and the director of the Nis NES, Boban Matić, came for a short time, but he did not talk to the students.
Why the Niš "bureau"
They chose the Niš "bureau", one of the students told Juzne Vesti, because he and his colleagues testify that jobs are obtained in different ways, and that protocols are not respected in Serbia.
A skilfully designed action takes place in front of the Postal Savings Bank.
There, too, students formed lines, to "inquire about loans for apartments and whether they can create an investment fund for professors' salaries."
"I've been waiting for about twenty minutes. There are lines here every day, because not all the counters are open, and even when they are open, there is always a huge amount of paperwork and bureaucracy that slows down the process. When it's our turn, we'll ask if we can invest in a fund to donate money for professors' salaries and if the offer for loans for apartments of 750 euros is still valid," one student told N1.
