Extended deadline for signing
Due to the large response of citizens, the action was extended in many cities several hours after the scheduled time. At almost 500 stands across Serbia, citizens have since this morning signed a request to announce elections in the action "Declare Victory" organized by students in the blockade.
Leaflets were printed in many places.
According to the students, it will take several days to count the ballots in all cities.
More than 17.000 signatures were collected in Nis.
From city to city
According to FoNet's correspondent, the action to sign the support of the students' request in Kragujevac was organized at seven points, and despite the cold and windy weather, the response of the citizens was already high in the morning hours.
The citizens of Zaječar also signed their support for the student request at several locations, and they announced a protest in front of the municipal building for tonight.
The Serbian Warriors Square in the center of Kraljevo, where the New Year's bazaar is also held, has the highest frequency of people.
In Niš, too, a large number of citizens responded to the student action, and improvised stands were set up on the Palilul ramp, in St. Sava Park, Pavle Stojković Square, Somborski Boulevard and in the park in front of the Niš Assembly.
The "Sremska" bazaar was held in the center of Sremska Kamenica, the aim of which is to gather citizens in the festive spirit, but also to provide concrete support to students through the collection of signatures, as well as the organization of humanitarian activities aimed at children, including the collection of donations and gifts for the youngest.
Residents of the Banat village of Omoljica, near Pancevo, joined the students' action early in the morning and signed demands for the holding of extraordinary parliamentary elections at the stand.
In Čačak and Gornji Milanovac, students started collecting signatures for the announcement of extraordinary parliamentary elections at around 15 points this morning.
In addition to city locations, signatures were also collected in the surrounding villages - in Mrčajevci and Slatina near Čačak and in Nevada, Pranjani and Rudnik near Gornji Milanovac.
