Seselj's Chetnik project in the nineties was an attempt to institutionalize Chetnik identity in politics. He left a deep mark on the political culture with the shubara and the cockade. Admittedly, Vuk Drašković was more successful in this. In fact, while Vuk and SPO branded themselves as Chetniks from Veljko Bulajić's films, Šešelj and the team (which also included Vučić) branded themselves based on the most terrible stories about the Chetnik movement: great Serbia, rusty spoons and a hundred Muslims for one Serb.
