After five years of darkness: Electricity, water and gas for owners of illegal homes

Citizens living in illegal buildings will be able, starting September 15, within 30 days, to submit applications for connection to electricity, heating, water and sewerage by filling in a form that will be delivered to the municipalities, it was announced after the Government session. Only owners of houses and apartments who permanently solved their housing issue by building or buying can get a connection

Proposal for a law on the management of business companies: Litigation, opela and sale of Serbia

The draft law on the management of business companies has arrived in the National Assembly. If that law is adopted, a group of powerful people will be able to manage Serbia's forests, mountains, waters, and nuclear facilities. After that, it is no longer important who is the government or who is the opposition in the country, only the leaders of Serbia will be asked about everything important, and that according to the law.

Do everything to protect children: Serbia accepted important recommendations of the UN Human Rights Council

Non-governmental organizations for children's rights today welcomed the adoption of the recommendations of the UN Human Rights Council, which concern the improvement of the entire normative framework of children's rights. Legislation against physical punishment of children, strengthening mechanisms that ensure the protection of children from violence in all environments, strengthening inclusiveness in education are some of the main adopted recommendations, and the NGO sector appeals to adopt the Law on the Rights of the Child and introduce the institution of the Protector of Children's Rights as soon as possible.
