How I became an international terrorist

When it was announced that I had been on the measures since May 2024, I remembered that this was the period before the local elections in Novi Sad. It seems that it was practical for them, following me, to eavesdrop on internal party discussions in the PSG, as well as the entire pre-election opposition-coalition agreements and negotiations, in order to know what the opposition is planning for the local elections. Given that I was actively participating in the negotiations, maybe I could have thought that I was the one being tapped, but it all seemed so crazy and pointless, so I didn't even think about it. I could hardly believe it when a journalist from "Danasa", who came into possession of the complete indictment, called me and asked me to comment on this monitoring.

Insider: BIA wiretapped one person, six PSG activists ended up in prison

One person was under the surveillance of the Security Information Agency for three and a half months, Insider reports. The BIA allegedly eavesdropped on that person and "accidentally" filmed 12 activists in the premises of the PSG in Novi Sad, so six of them ended up in prison, and a warrant was issued against six of them.

The only vision of SNS for Belgrade is corruption

"The first move after the change of government must be to draw a line, to say exactly how much is owed, how many fictitious people were employed, how many official vehicles were used, what are the disadvantages of city companies, who are the subcontractors...", says Stefan Simić, stating that the City's serious problem today is lack of transparency. "We have projects like 'Security of Belgrade'... A good idea raises doubts because everything is non-transparent - who are the people who are employed, what are their qualifications, how does the surveillance system work, where are the recordings stored, is there room for abuse? We don't know any of that, even though we ask questions every day"

Criticism internally, solidarity publicly

People are eager for change and, to use that colloquial expression, they "got carried away". It is necessary now to learn a lesson for the future, but much more serious and mature people have made much bigger mistakes at numerous opposition and activist meetings

Stroke

The eavesdropped discussion of the Novi Sad PSG board is at the level of banter in pub conversations, such as are held throughout Serbia. Its publication shows all the misery of the severely shaken government, as well as the wanderings of parts of the opposition parties
