Professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences Slaviša Orlović announced on the X social network that he "returned the mandate" of the dean and signed his resignation on June 8.
Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Slaviša Orlović, resigned from the position of dean, after being elected to that position contrary to the Statute of the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade (FPN).
Allegations of sexual harassment Orlović came into the spotlight in 2014 after news broke that a master's student had accused him of sexual harassment. Some media wrote that she claimed that it happened in his office, and after that the issue of his removal from the position of vice dean was raised. Orlović was subsequently removed from that position, but this was allegedly not stated as a formal reason. He then said that he was dismissed from the post of vice-dean "due to the lack of communication with the dean" and stated that no criminal complaint for sexual harassment was ever filed against him, and that no state authority had noted any harassment on his part.
