Belgrade is no longer Belgrade

In recent years, Belgrade has been designed by foreign architects. It is not known who hires them or according to what criteria they get jobs, but they impose an architecture on Belgrade that has nothing to do with it. Who are they and how many are there?

EXPO, National Stadium, Army and Police

The budget for 2025 is adopted in the context of favorable economic circumstances for Serbia and the entire region of the Western Balkans. The total pie is increasing, but attention should be paid to issues of redistribution and transparency

Aleksandar Vučić: The stadium in Surčin will be one of the three most beautiful in Europe

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, attended the ceremony on the occasion of the start of the construction of the National Stadium in Surčin. On that occasion, he said that the stadium will be built according to FIFA and UEFA standards, and that in 2028 the Europa League final will be played in Belgrade. He did not explain why Serbia needs another stadium, but he again announced flying taxis

In the new issue: Vučić in stadium fever

Why is it that instead of the stadium in Zaječar, on which twenty or more million euros will be spent, playgrounds for children, fitness tracks for recreational athletes and gymnasiums for physical education are not built at literally every school? Why do investors who build in Serbia have no obligation to provide space for the construction of sports fields in neighborhoods or at least parks where children could spend time outside in a safe environment?

Promises and manipulations

In the new issue: Vučić's dreams

Vučić and his associates succeeded in one thing: he made so many false promises (which he now calls dreams) that, as the children say, he "turned the game around", because where everything is a lie, there are no lies. And that's why Serbia should perhaps dream of something else: a community of serious and responsible people who finish what they started on time, because "it's never too late" may make sense for a music reality program, but it can hardly bring any results for the country

National Stadium in Surčin: 52.000 seats

The stadium will have a regular circular shape and 52.000 seats. It will be partially covered, meaning the stands will mostly be covered, but the central part will be open. So there won't be a movable roof, but it's a very nice architectural solution, says Boban Velicković, head of the project supervision team.

Brnabić and Vučić: Serbia will be even more fantastic than it is now

The Prime Minister and the President of the State presented 2027 magnificent projects that will "completely change the appearance of Serbia", all related to the "EXPO XNUMX" project. By the way, when asked by journalist Tanjuga, Vučić also spoke about the letter of several dozen European parliamentarians in which they accuse Serbia and him personally of being responsible for the escalation in Kosovo.
