Interview: Siniša Malešević, sociologist
"It is interesting that Dodik is a structural product of the Dayton Agreement. He started as a communist and was a communist while he benefited from it. When Marković was in power, he became a reformist. We know that during the war he was a smuggler, and his party was in the parliament, so he had parliamentary immunity. Then with only two deputies, with American help, he came to power - then he was an American man. Then he was close to Tadić, and against Vučić and Šešelj. When Vučić came to power, he became his man, and now he is also Putin's. He went through everything - from the extreme left to the extreme right. He is a good indicator that it is all a product of the system that creates opportunity for such people. It didn't have to be Dodik, it could have been anyone."
