How Meta uses data without our consent

Our Personal Data Protection Act provides for all the rules that Meta would have violated if it had started applying its amended Privacy Policy on the territory of the European Union, i.e. all the rules that made it decide not to process user data in this way on the territory of these countries. Why then does it continue to use the data of users from Serbia for its VI improvements, and in an even less transparent way, without any notification to users?

Social networks at the annual technical review

There is quite a battle going on over our data on both sides of the Atlantic. When I say ours, of course I do not mean the data of the citizens of Serbia. Since we are not in the EU nor are we a US state, the protection of our data is, so to speak, collateral. If they protect their own, I guess they protect ours too, although there are no confirmations or guarantees for that
