Batina has one end - still

How, at the first sign that resistance can be organized in a different way than peaceful walks, did the government and its bodies suddenly realize that "beating has two ends"?

There will be no more withdrawals

The repression is intensifying. Now we already have detentions, closures, and there will be more and more of them. It shows that the regime is aware that it is no longer in such a comfortable position. That part of the opposition that is sincere must understand that the usual methods of struggle will not give results. And now the question is: are we ready for it or not? If not, then let's all retire to our homes and let this one rule for life

Jovo Bakić for "Vreme": We must be ready for force

Part of the opposition is actually the regime and is leading the people on walks left and right, says sociologist Jovo Bakić for the new issue of "Vremena". And the people must organize themselves and be ready to retaliate against the regime's violence

Bakić: The opposition is not ready to take risks, and neither are the citizens

Protests by the opposition due to the "termination of electoral will" have not yielded results so far, and it has been shown that the citizens have no will for more than peaceful walks and rallies. "People have a justified fear that politicians will betray them, so why should they risk it," sociologist Jovo Bakić told Vreme.

The case of Jovo Bakić: Undue pressure on the Faculty of Philosophy

The Ministry of Education sent a letter to the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, regarding the public appearances of Professor Jov Bakić in which he criticized the government. The faculty was asked to state whether they would distance themselves from his statements. Dean Daniel Sinani replied that the moral responsibility for a publicly expressed word is individual and subjective. He also expressed the hope that the next letter from the Ministry will refer to the improvement of the working conditions of students and employees at the faculty, but also to the improvement of the collapsed education system in Serbia.

Society is under heavy opiates

"What is called the intellectual elite is probably the most rotten part of society. They are not in need of selling, they are selling out of necessity in order to live more comfortably than before, because the needs have grown. It's tragic and that's why I blame them more than an ordinary person who works from morning to night, so they put him on a bus with a sandwich to go somewhere to applaud."
