To what extent is a relevant right-wing political option than the progressive one possible in Serbia, that is, is it possible to overtake Aleksandar Vučić on the right? "Some analysts close to the SNS mention the Belgrade elections in the fall of 2023, so that could make us think that they know something that we don't. However, I think that if there are parliamentary elections, they will be combined with provincial and local elections, and it seems very complicated that you are causing artificial crises in more than 100 local governments, in which regular elections follow, so that early elections can be held there as well. . From that angle, parliamentary elections in the spring of 2024 seem much more realistic to me than in the fall of 2023."
Right-wing groups in Serbia are not only "produced", because there are young people who believe in those ideologies, but "their leaders are certainly in contact with the government", or the government supports and controls them. Therefore, absolutely no security problem exists as far as Europride is concerned, it is propaganda to divert the public's attention from other painful topics.
Aleksandar Vučić also expressed concern about the strengthening of the right in the future Serbian parliament. "Even" three openly right-wing options enter the parliament, but with "only" 35 MPs. However, the real truth is that right-wingers have been sitting in parliament for a long time, both in the government and in the opposition, and that there are far more than 35 of them.
