Reissues: Haustor – The third world
This summer, one of the best records of Yugoslav rock, which has long been waiting for a well-deserved revaluation, was reissued on luxury vinyl. When the Haustor group published "Treći svijet" in 1984, new wave has long since passed, and the audience no longer cared about the anxieties and hopes of that generation, they wanted more relief. Misunderstood in its time, this work of art that mythologizes the struggle of the oppressed for freedom - anytime and anywhere, and especially in the former Yugoslavia - has constantly returned to fashion, remaining relevant to the present day, inspiring many subsequent groups.
